Vehicle CCTV works in a fashion very similar to a normal CCTV system, consisting of specialist cameras mounted in and around any vehicle and connected to a DVR for recording.

The system shown above consists of 3 cameras mounted inside the vehicle, 2 cameras are mounted by the rear front windscreens and look at the view behind and in front of the vehicle, and a third camera is mounted in the vehicle to watch the inside of the vehicle. The cameras are then wired back to the DVR which is fitted in the car's boot. This system will provide evidence in the event of an accident or break in.
